How do you quote someone in a post?

I get that to. Obviously I'm doing something wrong.
Why isn't there a damn quote button? Seriously? Pay to have access to post images, quotes, URLs etc and we have to manually type in the code everytime?? There has to be a better way? And is there no way to have the quote display the username of who we are quoting?

I think this is because you don't have any paid subscription level.
Also, if you use the mobile version of the site, it's much easier to quote as you can just click on their name in their post and gives an option to quote. But why not have this feature on the desktop site?
