v4 not communicating with older part of forum?

Here is what is happening:

1. Go to Texags homepage
2. Click on one of the premium videos
3. Access is granted to that premium video (my login info is saved in a cookie)
4. Click on "discuss" link
5. Asked to login

Why am I being asked to login to the discussion part of the forum, when I was already viewing a page that required login info?

Most links between the two sites transfer login information. This one does not.

It is an oversight. I will see it gets corrected in the next site update.
