How come one thread title goes, say, 20 characters, and another one goes twice that before the ...? This is driving me crazy and is definitely something that needs to be fixed. I can't read the thread titles on many of these and I can't believe for a second that this is a user improvement.

The strange thing is that they don't necessarily stay that way. If you refresh or resize the window, they can change.
