I often see extra notifications. It will say 3 but when I click on it, it only show 2 threads. But today, I am not seeing any notifications until I click on the bell.

This is happening to me today as well and never noticed it before now.
3 notifications, but doesn't represent what's actually there. Currently have nothing unread, and when I do interacting with them is not making a change in the notification.

Same here. One notification with no idea where it's coming from.
it was like this last night. I thought it might have been my home pc browser issue but here at work this morning, same thing.
Now they aren't showing even if I click the bell. I have to go to the forum or click All Notifications.
My notifications are showing and I open the bell and it is empty.

I'm also getting a single notification on the site and the app, but nothing is showing. Hitting "Mark All as Read" clears it very briefly. I had just assumed it was from an old thread on Varsity or something that I no longer have access to, but I guess it's more pervasive than that. Started yesterday.
Yes, bell is blank but lots of notifications showing when I open list.
Same here on the app. Also not showing any new notifications
