Rowdy, given our large subscriber base, we utilize a large bank of numbers to send out text alerts (>100), so that probably isn't the route you want to go. However, each user generally receives alerts from the same number in our system. Thus, you should be able to just add the last (or next) number you receive a text alert from. This can change if we have to reset our system (usually to add numbers), but happens very seldom (every couple years).

I might also suggest you download the iOS app and turn on push notifications. This will allow to not only receive breaking news but any other alerts you want to setup.
