On his favorite part of being an Aggie...

"My favorite part is the 12th Man, the crowd. The crowd is lovely and very excited to see us play."

On working out with Lebron James and Kevin Durant...

"From that opportunity, I learned how to be patient with the game of basketball and take my time. I also learned how to work even harder and how I have to put in extra work even if I thought I had put enough work in."

On his decision to play at the University of Houston...

"I always knew I wanted to stay closer to home because I am really close to my family, my mom and dad. Choosing Houston was a good situation for me."

On why he decided to transfer to A&M...

"I love the atmosphere. I loved how it was just right down the road from my parents and it was easy to get to. I also loved the fact that they have players that were here that were willing to work and that the coaches knew how to win."

On having experience playing with the current group of guys...

"It's very fun. They bring the best out of you and make you want to work even hard and everyone wants to win."

On his reaction to finding out that he would be eligible this season...

"I was at Bright typing a 14-page paper and then I got a call that said I was clear and I was so excited. I ran back to my room to pack and next thing I knew I was on a plane."

On playing with the team for the first time...

"There was a lot of energy and a lot of enthusiasm. Everyone was just so proud that we had our whole team."

On being on Sportscenter's Top 10...

"No, not at all. Everyone may call me insane but I work at it a lot. The coaches know I put in a lot of hard time and work so it may look insane, but I actually work on it."

On collecting shoes...

"Oh yes, I'm a big shoe collector. I have over 220 pairs of sneakers."

On what shoes he chooses to wear each day...

"I just rotate them. It all depends on the weather too because I don't want to get them dirty. So if its rainy outside, I have my rainy shoes that look nice, but then also if it's sunny outside and I want to go out then I have my really really really nice shoes."

On when his shoe collection began...

"It actually began my sophomore year of high school. When I noticed I was blowing through my shoes too fast because I was playing in them as a freshman, I settled down and learned how to get shoes at a time and how to take care of them. The next thing I knew five pairs grew to 10, 10 grew to 20 and next thing I know I'm at 220 pairs."

On his pre-game rituals...

"I text my mom and my dad and talk to them, I pray to the man upstairs and then I just listen to music."

On the team's biggest Jokester...
