SEC Champs! Commemorating Aggies' clinching win over Vanderbilt

From 7-0, to 7-5, to 13-5, the road was winding — but it led Texas A&M to the SEC Tournament's No. 1 seed and a share of the conference title.

Following Saturday's 76-67 defeat of the visiting Vanderbilt Commodores, which clinched the Aggies' first conference title in 30 years, Logan Lee and Olin Buchanan joined the conversation on the magnitude of the league championship, the win itself, Billy Kennedy's turnaround, the senior class' impact and the postseason ahead.

Agree with Logan and OB about the conf tourney.....No big deal if the Ags don't win it. Would be another feather in the cap to win it but if not they can start focusing on what's to come the following week and get some physical/mental rest.. Hope they win their first game and then after that as long as the team is doing what they are supposed to do and playing well would just accept what happens in the conf tourney and move on the March Madness.

I'm ready to see some new competition on the court. It's kind of getting like preseason when the players beat each other up on the court waiting for November games to start....anxious to see new faces on the other side. Competition is getting too familiar.

(To me seems like conf tourneys are a waste of time. A championship team has already been determined through many games. Some teams end up playing each other three times. More chance for injury and just needing a break. I guess it has to do with $$$$.)
