TERRIBLE first half!!!

Texas A&M was down 22-14 about mid-way through the first half. We went to a zone and focused harder on going inside and that seemed to settle things down a bit and we outscored them 27-11 the remainder of the first half to take the 41-33 lead into halftime.

A lot more likely we win by 20+

Keep pounding the ball inside

We tried to play their style and it blew up on our face the first few minutes. Also they were playing with an unsustainable level of energy to start. It's pretty clear we have control of this game and I don't see any counter moves for them.

As long as they don't go crazy hitting low percentage shots we have this.

If we are so outmatched, how come we outscored them 27-11 the last 10 minutes of the first half and 11-2 the last 4 minutes?

They are a one-trick pony, trying to turn the game into a pickup game. Looks like our guys took awhile to get used to what was going on and then just started to grind them.

To win, GB is going to have to hit a bunch of three point shots. That is pretty much their main hope. Hit a bunch of threes and hope that we miss a ton of free throws, cause with their playing style they will foul us a bunch.

Terrible 1st half of the 1st half. Pretty good after we calmed down and stopped turning the ball over.

By the same token, if we play as well or better as we play in the last 10 minutes... we win....

First part of the 2nd half is key. They are going to try again to force tempo. If we can control the first 5 minutes, we will be in great position.
