Why don't your fans embrace the X? In other-words, your school should be called X-zavier, not zavier.

Its not professor zavior. It's professor x. The x-men. That is all.

Because that would be grammatically incorrect. You do not pronounce it Tex-zas A&M.

And I think we embrace the X. It is our logo.
Grammar-shmammer. Also, When I say Texas, you really couldn't tell if I said "Texzas" could you?

It is "exavier" and it will always be "exavier". Anyone who corrects me in person gets a knuckle sammich!!

My mom and her entire side of the family are all from the Cincinnati area, and I have at least one relative who went to Xavier. They are married to a UC alum so yeah idk how that works. You might truly be the only person in history with a degree from both schools.

It's pronounced zavier you heathens.

Also, American X, forget the skyline chili jokes, do you eat goetta?

I hear great things about the chili up there. We've got good Tex-Mex, as you know.
I'm married into an Ohio family. What they told you about the chili was a lie.

Considering that I am not a Cincinnati native or 19th-century German-immigrant peasant, no I do not.

You would not like it or at least not agree that it is chili. Greek & Macedonian immigrants brought it here and called it 'chili' because that was something the Americans could understand. There is overlap in the contents, but it is more of a sauce than what the rest of us consider chili.

There is a chili parlor culture in Cincinnati with subtle differences and loyalties among them. Cincinnatians are peculiar people. I cannot tell any of them apart. I think it is an elaborate practical joke.

As for Tex-Mex, I was astonished and thrilled to find a couple of Chuy's in my area around Indianapolis.

Lived in Cincinnati for 6 years (and by the way, it's a great little city. Recommend a visit in the fall if you love beer and baseball).

Made a few Xavier friends, so I'm pumped for this one. They have a really nice basketball arena and a campus / student population that reminds me of SMU in a lot of ways. Not having a football program, they take their basketball pretty seriously at X.

And to reiterate, Cincinnati chili is not very good, nor is it really chili as we know it. It's passable drunk food if you want to scarf down noodles covered in meat soup and a mound of shredded cheese.

I knew one ag (Tobias) that lived in Cinci for a while. According to Facebook there are plenty of good looking women, or maybe they just congregate around him.

Xavier fans were great on Tuesday. Hope to meet a few more tonight. I also hope they cry just a little bit.
I always root for y'all on family feud.

Don't know about evil stuff, but Jesuit brothers and priests can be rough. I got whacked a few times while at Mater Dei with a pointer stick in my four years there. Rough guys.
So my A&M roommate was working at the Chicken Oil Co. and takes me to meet the owner Don Ganter about getting a job. Don is rambling on and on as he usually did, some related to potential employment but mostly not.

Relevant to nothing else in the one-sided conversation, he says that he went to high school with the priests who hear the Pope's confession. I pipe up that I was educated by the Jesuits as well. He leers at me and growls "I want you working the front bar at the Dixie Chicken." Great, not sure what that means, but great.

So I start at the Dixie Chicken and all the guys hate me because (1) you are supposed to work your way from the bottom up to the front bar and (2) I am a Yankee. Good times.

Congratulations on a good season and, more importantly, getting the program moving in the right direction under Buzz.

Unfortunately, you met the Xavier team that was supposed to be at the top of the Big East and get a high seed. This team was transformed by firing Travis Steele and naming Jonas Hayes interim head coach. That and bringing home Sean Miller, we got our mojo back.

Let's get a home-and-home series going. I would love to make the pilgrimage back to College Station. You can come to Cincinnati for some hills, midwestern weather, and strange chili.

Better yet, let's meet in the NCAA championship game next year (with the same result).

Howdy from Xavier Nation. First, congratulations on a great season. Second, best of luck in the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. Third, f*** tu.

We gladly join you in the brotherhood of Colgate Raiders fans. Looking forward to the atmosphere in Wells Fargo Arena. Especially, if the seeds hold (which I hope they do not for the 2 seed), Saturday when Aggies, Jayhawks, and Razorbacks could gather in very anti-Longhorn unison.

Good luck taking out the bore-to-tears Big Ten tonight on your first step to us meeting again in Kansas City.

SCREW t.u.!!! HORNS DOWN!!!

Congratulations Aggies on a great season & high seed and good luck against the nerds on Thursday.

I am shocked and thrilled that Xavier made the tournament. Of all the teams we could face, we get a shot at revenge from losing to t.u. in the Sweet Sixteen two years and sending them home very early.

Good luck for a deep run and let's meet in San Antonio for our own rematch.

I was at that NIT final in 22 - last year in MSG in NYC so last min surprised the wife with a trip up there and had a blast! Tickets total for both games were about $100 for us combined to sit in the first 2 rows Courtside at the mechanic of basketball arenas (top 5 prob)

Great game and still can't believe the runner lipped out that would have won the trophy for the Ags! Xavier fans were great and it was a competitive but friendly atmosphere. Got to say sup to Sean Miller who was sitting 2 rows behind us watching his soon to be team win it.

Good luck Wed night X! TKe down the whorns
