In this instance that was the classier move. I never cared much for Barnes but I respect his coaching. Can't say the same for Adams.

Didn't get to post immediately after the game, but that was fun to watch. I love the grind these guys play with.

The way they defend the 3 and rotate - so much energy and willingness to do it.

They are so mentally tough right now and just flat wearing teams out. It's so much fun to watch.

Tennessee has really been struggling except for the one win over Alabama. We have been really good and are the better team right now no matter the case

I was worried at halftime. They'd only made 3 threes. The big guy play limited minutes. We only had two guys scoring. The early 2nd half fouls were big. But then it seemed like they swallowed the whistle for a while. I think we went from the 12 minute mark to 3 something without shooting a free throw.

I told my brother we were in good shape at half. We had played almost as bad as we could have or actually have since conference play started and we were still tied with them. I felt pretty confident if we played near our capabilities in the second half and got even a 4-5 point lead under 4 minutes, then our free throw shooting would lead us to victory.

It is a recipe we have been using since conference play started and it has been very successful for us.

Skimming the stats, Tennessee has 19 assists on 22 field goals. (A&M for contrast had 9 on 18 FG). Not sure I've seen a team have a closer to 1:1 ratio
