Apex Performance of the Week: Women's hoops & Wade Taylor IV
Joni Taylor's Fightin' Texas Aggies are riding a heater as they picked up an eighth consecutive victory on Monday night by dominating Mississippi Valley State, 95-45. Taylor's Ags, along with Wade Taylor IV, are worthy recipients of this week's Apex Performance of the Week.
David Nuño’s Performance of the Week: Wade Taylor & A&M women’s hoops
- This one is simple. Wade Taylor IV won the SEC’s Player of the Week. He had 34 points vs. Houston. The guy was an assassin in that game. He put Texas A&M on his back and brought them back in that game. He was phenomenal. The part of his performance that speaks the most is that one of the best defenses in the country could not stop him. He came up big. The Aggies came up short, but this could be a preview of what we might see in SEC play. He has the ability to attack and hit 3-pointers.
- I also have to give props to A&M’s women’s basketball team. They’ve won eight straight and 10 on the year. It’s about to get harder, but it has been a huge improvement. They have been a complete team.
