While the final result shouldn't be a shocker to anyone as UVA had multiple games this year where they scored in the 40s - they did beat Wake Forest, Clemson and eventual ACC Tournament Champ NC State - plus, of course, beat Texas A&M and Florida in their nonconference games.

But, yeah - Indiana State or St. John's or Providence or Villanova should've gotten their bid.

Not Oklahoma.

I predict the Mountain West will punk the committee this year for underseeding them, with several teams winning at least one game - and perhaps one or two, like San Diego State last year, going very deep into the tournament.

My money is on New Mexico. They are playing well right now and on a mission.

And, before I forget, although there might be little chance of success, we NEED to try to tamper with (and NIL$ get to transfer) New Mexico freshman forward, JT Toppin, who is a double double machine and MWC Freshman of the Year - as he is from Dallas and was Texas High School 4A POTY last year.

I've probably watched more CSU games than A&M games this year and I am so happy for the Rams. If Isaiah Stevens is on his game, I think they can beat texas. You'd have to think he'd have some extra motivation to beat a school from Texas, being from Allen.

I know they won't but I kinda wish they would wear their retro "Aggies" uniform for the game against the horns.

We've seen in tournament play before that playing, and of course winning, the first game can bode well against a team that has essentially gotten a bye. I thought that after the first 10 minutes of so, CSU played really well and Virginia couldn't buy a basket.
