Not directly related to Aggie basketball except we played him while he at Iowa State. Not intending to discuss any of this though Fred Hoiberg relied heavily on transfers in an early portent of today's portal instead of just high school recruiting.

Yeah I just looked it up and he had a fear of flying. But then played overseas. I wonder if he took a boat

He relied on medications to get through the flights while at Iowa State, but decided there were too many flights in an NBA season for that to work. He probably dosed the hell up to get from here to Europe, and then took trains.
