I kinda disagree with the UCF/Tech takes. I think you want the teams you beat to be as good as possible as long as the team you lost to isn't on the verge of being catastrophically bad.

It's not going to matter anyway, but hypothetically if we were on the bubble a win versus a really good Tech would weigh more than a loss to UCF moving from #80 to #71 or whatever.

I don't know. I don't think we have any q3 loss possibilities in the sec. I'd like to have a -0 on the Q3/4 loss line. UCF is probably the only one. Keeping them above 75 would be nice.

UCF would have to fall to 136 to drop to quad 3. That is going to be nearly impossible with only big 12 play left.

Good wins always matter more and there is almost a zero % chance UCF makes it to bad loss territory.

It's good wins. It's always good wins. Someone should do some kind of psych study on this because whenever committees get in a room they seem to always stop caring about who you lost to. (With the exception being if you also didn't beat anyone.)

The NCAAT committee has a long track record of this, and it was clear the CFP committee did the same thing.

But again, it doesn't really matter. We need to go .500 in league play to get like a 6-7 seed and every win better than that probably moves us up a seed line.

I'm just not sure TT on a neutral court will ever be a "good win" Q1 yes, but it won't be noted anywhere. Purdue will though.

It's metrics based. If tech stays in the top 50 it stays a good win.

UK - UF to kick off at 10
Arkie - UT at noon
LSU - Vandy should be entertaining at 3
Bama - OU at 5 total lead up to our game.

I'm interested to see how good UF is in Rupp and if OU is mostly schedule. Will be fun!!

Great game and good offense both ways. Defense? Not so much. Arkie and UT will see better defense I think.
