He's been waiting for a chance like this. The Texas A&M product is contributing for a team with postseason aspirations, and his hope is to be aggressive and impactful every night.

So far, so good for a Pacers team that needs it. The most valuable thing Jackson has added isn't his offense and burst, though. It's been everything else. He's been able to play multiple roles - point guard and off-ball guard come the most often - and he's defended well despite facing some tough matchups.

I think he continues to impress (see thread about Q's play at Houston Rockets).

I hope he ends up like Caruso did with the Lakers - going from 2-way contract to earn a full time permanent spot on the Pacers' roster - then becoming a fan favorite with his energy and positive attitude!

One of my favorite Aggie Basketball players!

I hope he gets to contribute more and more to a playoff team, shine when he gets the opportunity, and get PAID when the time is right!

Buzz finally figured out how to use Q as our lead guard midway through the SEC season, and our team had an incredible turnaround. Then the NCAA committee totally disregarded how well we were playing at the end of season in the last dozen games. If our team this past year had Q, it could have very well been a FF team. Q is one one of my favorite all-time Aggie hoopsters.

Completely agree!

Aftwr a nailbiter against Florida in our first game, we beat #4 Auburn and then easily handled #15 Arky in the SEC Tournament that year - and I believe the Hogs went on to make it to the Elite Eight in the NCAAT later that same year.

He quickly became one of my all time ags because of his aggressiveness and willing to throw down
