I don't know if this is usually done for home games but I'm PUMPED!

Taking my son to his first big game and excited to be staying on campus. Coming in from Houston. I wonder the farthest an Aggie is coming in from?

We've got 3 in section 219 ready to yell our assess off and BTHO tu!

I'm confident this will be a full Reed but I hope all our Saturday conference matchups - and there are a good number of them - are full. And I hope students and locals and diehards get Reed decently rowdy for the kid week games. Great ranking, great team, great conference - AND ANDERSSON FRICKIN GARCIA

We're coming from 3.9 miles away in West Bryan. 3 in 101.

We'll probably be in the NW portion of the Reed parking lot tailgating ahead of time. Look for the group playing rage cage.

Unrelated, but when to the gates open to allow students and non-students into the arena?

In my mind I have that students can get in 1.5 hours before tipoff and non-students can get in 1 hour before.

They sold reserved tickets in the balcony of the student section (north baseline). I can't remember them ever doing that before, but maybe someone can correct me on that.

If the students show up we could have another 2016 LSU on our hands.

Gotcha.

It's probably the correct decision for this one to get as many guaranteed butts in the seats as possible. I just remember the hellscape that LSU game turned into when I was a student. Game was a blast though.

This is correct. Doors open for students 90 minutes before, 60 minutes for everybody else.

There's one of those every so often where it's truly bonkers. '08 Oklahoma was nuts when I was a student. But the recipe for those games is usually that school needs to have started. And the actual normal campus parking situation adds to the **** show.

Curious to see how many other students show up. I got there just before doors opened for students for the game against No. 6 Kentucky last year at around the same point in Winter Break and I was able to get front-row seats in the student section. I believe most of the student section filled up, but it wasn't completely full.
