We didn't have 2 mil to spend this past year for the team

If we were paying the most, we aren't, they'd want to play for Buzz.
I really don't think they would. The top guys are looking for money obviously. But they are also looking at the nba. And an offense where we try to take bad shots just to get an offensive rebound is not going to let anyone shine. And so they will not come here even if we offer them top dollar. Their draft stock would tank.
Anyone who is projected to be a top 10-15 nba pick would be insane to play for buzz.

We don't actually need top players but we do need guys that actually know how to play basketball. Too many that didn't this season.
The #1 recruit for next year going to BYU is reportedly getting 7 million. I'm not sure what Flagg actually got to go to Duke.

The revenue sharing from the Athletic Department next year solely to men's basketball is expected to be between $3,500,000 and $4,000,000. That is 15-18% of the entire $22.5M pot. That is before any outside NIL deals.
Well we paid 35M in football. How'd that work out?
I don't believe any of these hyper inflated NIL numbers for any of the sports. Where is the hard tangible proof? It's just a bunch of blow-hards spouting off numbers like they know something that no one else does. We all have an uncle in the family that acts this way.

We've got some guys that didn't see the court that may be good. McDermott, Mills and Turkson to name 3. We'll bring in some good players via the portal. . Agree we need to bring in at least 2 experienced ball handlers that can also score.
We need some help with regard to ball movement . To me that's a fair piece of the poor shooting numbers and the scoring drought issues. I think that's a coaching tweak that needs to be addressed.
