Yes it sucks on the surface. AWFUL optics. Wish he didn't have that huge stain on his name. But again, I'm at the point of DGAF. Do we want a proven winner or not? Bring him on. At least his kids that he coaches (far as I know) don't have crap tons of character issues (looking at you, Oats). The stink resides squarely on Beard himself. Fair enough. I can respect that. I will add there is an opportunity to push tu's dicks in here, too. So far, they've had the upper hand. Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to flip the script.

I actually think this is a big motivator. We will see if it comes to fruition. If not, you get your wish and we move on to another candidate.

Without the true facts of the situation….all of them, plus context….you really can't take a rock solid stance either way.
The rest is just speculation.

The sensitivity of it won't be lost on our brass.
And if we actually hire him, that would mean we vetted the situation and came away with information that pacified the decision makers.

For me, that'll be good enough to get on board with it.

I too think everyone accused of everything is guilty and should pay forever for their alleged crimes indefinitely. I wasn't there but I saw that mugshot and he looked guilty! JK DGAF.
