Every single one of us will begin judging Bucky after the first game, win or lose. That's a simple fact of life. In fact, we've already begun judging him, and we are eager to see what players he signs. We'll judge him based on the team he assembles; another simple fact.

I think we do need to be patient and supportive as a fanbase. But part of the reality of dipping down as far as we did is that the coach wouldn't have a lot of high major talent on his current roster, and also wouldn't have a strong recruiting or assistant network.

So a big part of the concerns about Bucky is that he'll likely be less likely to have a good first year than other options would have been. If that turns out to be true, then it'd be in large part because of the nature of the hire, but that'd be more a criticism of Alberts than Bucky.

I think the 12th Man has been as about as patient and supportive as possible. I'd even ask for you to provide a fanbase that's been more supportive and patient as A&M
