He's a rim defender and scores on putbacks and high percentage shots. Not gonna need him to put up double doubles but he's gonna be a great addition. Helluva pick up!

I'm ashamed that I'm on Complete Idiot's side on this one.

I'm mostly ashamed of all y'all for not getting the joke.

He's a great teammate, great locker room guy. Really good for a program from that standpoint.

He has flashes of good, like when he got like 6 rebounds in the same possession and ended up finally being the one to put the ball in the basket.

Here is where he will frustrate you:

1. Weak hands. I mean surprisingly weak hands, except for the occasional moments where he can hold on to a ball. For a guy of his size and the position he plays, this is a tremendous handicap. He needs to be going grip exercises and weights every day between now and next season.

2. Hesitation and then an inability to get what should be an easy put back.

3. The foul line...who knows what you're going to get. One game he can't even come close, the next game he will sink them all. It's a crapshoot.

Here's what you will enjoy:

1. He works hard to play good defense.

2. He's a morale booster and a solid locker room guy. The ultimate teammate.

3. When he does have flashes of greatness, it will come at very much needed and opportune times. You'll be like, "Whoa, where has that been?" He has a knack for timing.

I was hoping he would stay at Tech...I thought another year, particularly in the weight room, could be a difference maker.

Coleman is way better than Federiko, but he does add more depth and I think will benefit from the type of basketball we're going to play.

For sure. Hey I'm excited too. I didn't necessarily want Buzz to leave but there was little doubt that the vibe was off. Despite last year being objectively one of the best in school history it just didn't have a lot of juice a lot of the time for some reason.

Bucky's off to a great start on that front.

Plus frankly we've recruited better than I'd have expected. Miles and Mgbako especially are better than replacement level players.

Mgbako is the star and should be getting an outsized chunk of all fan chatter, but I understand we are still building the roster and are going to focus on the latest and next potential signeees.

But Mgbako, in my opinion, is clearly the biggest talent acquired.

Honestly, being on the bubble would far exceed my expectations from when he was hired just due to the timing of the hire and complete roster rebuild. I'd sign up for that today if offered.
