START SPREADING THE NEWS! From the concrete jungle where the bright lights will inspire you all the way to the beautiful luxurious town of College Station, Texas come the Manhattan Jaspers!

Culture shock some might say… Odd scheduling more may say. However, that's what college basketball is all about! The Broadway Ballers are 3-2 with wins over St Joseph's Brooklyn, Utah Tech, and Mississippi Valley State. They did also play USC and lost 114-83. So they can score, but probably can't defend well. They have a balanced offense with 5 guys averaging double digits! Their defense is currently ranked 353rd on Kenpom. We better pass 100 and for our sake pass 115.

We need to get some confidence and some swagger. Hopefully we can play our style and play fast, but for 40 minutes. No lulls, no cold stretches, no droughts. We need to commit to the fast tempo and not play timid. A lot of it starts with defense, we need to rebound better and we need to create turnovers. Make it an ugly game for the Manhattan. Let's play from tip off to the final buzzer and play hard.

I'm still curious to see the lineups shake out. Going into game 6 it's time for guys to step up and demand more minutes. Who's going to take over for this team. Obviously we can't gauge much from a game against Manhattan, but we'll hopefully get to see some points scored and some players have themselves a big game. Also I've given up on speculating when Mgbako comes up lol.

Two possessions in a row where we let their guy pick up his dribble close to mid court and we didn't jump on him. We just let them pass freely

Everything just looks difficult for us on offense right now. Hoping they settle in (i find myself saying this every game).

Defense seems like it's inefficiently aggressive if that makes sense
