He's a proven stud guard. Once he's feeling comfortable and conditioned in this system, he will be hard to stop.

The team is night and day better than vs. OK State. It's not just the lopsided score today. Our halfcourt defense, offensive flow is so much better as they learn each other and Buckyball.

I really liked Pop as a distributor today. This team could use some role identity. Today seemed like a step in the right direction in that regard.

His play was among a number of reasons for optimism yesterday. Team is developing . Still expecting a roller coaster but there was a lot to like yesterday .

Florida isn't what they were last yr , at this point anyway. Guard play not nearly as good .

Pop is getting better but when he gets in trouble its because he's doing too much dribbling around and trying to play 1 v 1 outside of Bucky's system. He's got a ways to go but nice improvement in just the last week or so.

This is where you could see him getting better the last couple of games is using his own dribbling to set up others. He had three really nice passes last game and we either didn't make the shot off of the pass or got fouled so he didn't get credit for any assists but those were nice plays.

But his dribbling is something we're going to need down the road so he needs to keep working on it in these games, especially when we're already way ahead.

He had some great passes last game that we couldn't finish. All of them seemed really risky in the teammate needed to be ready. Each one went from 'that's a TO' to 'wow great look' to 'hope Pop doesn't pout they didn't finish' all within a second in my mind lol.

If he starts kicking out on his drives when he pulls two and three defenders at the rim, that would be awesome. I like him poking around, thought he had (less than 5) opportunities to get us really good looks distributing from there. Would help him get uncontested shots at the rim as that builds on tape.
