Opening Consensus Line
Aggies -2.5
Total is 162.5

Hopefully we can keep some momentum going in another non-conference matchup on a neutral site. There should be a lot more Aggies In attendance for this neutral site matchup than we had in Tampa.

Just Win!

I agree. They aren't very deep at all and play 5 guys over 30 minutes a game. Wear them out with our depth. I'm probably more concerned with Boopie Miller getting hot. I'm not really sure who our lock down defender would be when we need one. Team Defense will need to lock down.

7 ft 2 Turk could be a problem for our half court defense . Agree transition success is the best way to get him off the court . I look for them to feed him in their half court offense and try to get our bigs in foul trouble . We're going to need all of our bigs involved today imo. Probably will see Federico, Vinson , and Clemence play more mins than usual . Especially Vinson.

It's going to be 1/3 full so I don't think the fans are going to matter either way

It will be interesting to see how much zone we play today to slow down Boopie et.al. I think in recent interview Bucky said he likes to play zone about 33% of the time when he has his entire defense installed.

If we would have passed the ball IMMEDIATLEY on the inbound position while being pressed with less than a minute in the game, we would have covered. You learn the way to break a press is by passing the ball to the open dude, as there's always at least one open dude when they are double teaming the ball/dribbler.

This is one we let get away as we don't find the open dude, along with our guards seem to want to dribble too much, trying to get a play set up and gets the offense out of rhythm. If you can't dribble and drive (or shoot) when you first get the ball, or at least within a couple of seconds, PASS THE DAMN BALL TO SOMEONE ELSE AND LET THEM FIGURE IT OUT. It's not that complicated in a motion offense.

As a team that presses on almost every possession you would think we would have plenty of practice inbounding against the press...

. Yes , but as the old saying goes, "teams that press, don't like to be pressed". That proved true against SMU, especially at the end of regulation.
