I think he's a decent defender, rebounder , and passer. I think he likely isn't a good shooter or slasher which is why he isn't getting much PT in this system.

Thanks. Hard to conceive that the player voted best in the entire greater Houston area wouldn't be good enough for SEC. Still lots of time to develop.

Not really. Relatively (by sec big man stds) small bigs who dominate the paint in high school often don't project to this level. Simple. Wish him the best too though.

The few minutes I've seen him play he's been awful. He's a bricklayer. He has a weird body looks like short legs.

He got to start one game early on the season as a reward / motivation for others about how hard he goes in practice. I think it was garbage time in the first game he came in and tons of people got excited when he scored his first points.

Between that and garbage time, I'd agree he isn't going to see rotation minutes.

He got a start later than that because people weren't playing hard enough too.

He's just not there. Hopefully he's just not there YET. I do think it's important to remember that he's a true sophomore, and while this team doesn't have experience together we do have some very old players out there.
