Tough stretch

I can't believe that Vandy is our hardest game left. +13.

I think Florida at +3 is surprising. To me Florida and Bama are the hardest. Kentucky is playing better now too

Tho you can convince me to swap Bama and Vandy and potentially drop the tu game. Although all of our toughest remaining games are winnable, so I think we finish with anywhere from 3-5 losses. If that's the case that would put us from the 3-5 seed lines.

Just for the hell of it, I plugged this into Torvik to see what the projected seed would be with that outcome (with DynamaRank checked), and it had us as a 6 seed.

You see this and while it's still incredibly optimistic it's not that crazy. It's insane the way this team is playing rn. Need to start slaying some giants

I won't feel very comfortable about any of it until the Ags actually book a 10th conference win. After that it's definitely playing with house money in my mind .

I mean , the whole season has been playing with house money in a sense and on Jan 1 I was still thinking NIT but it's hard to deny the team has played beyond any reasonable expectations since conference play started .

On one hand that makes sense because our OOC schedule was that weak, but I just find it hard to believe that the committee would make a top 3 team out of the second strongest conference (depending on how you measure that) a 6 seed. The fact that we are even having this conversation still astounds me.

Whatever seed we are we will be underseeded because of the past football and basketball committees
