No idea. But it is an interesting point that we ave primarily overclassmen on the roster (only one freshman). I hope that Bucky can eventually get a balance of recruits and portal so that he doesn't have to reinvent the wheel every year (although I am pretty darn impressed with that he's done so far with just the portal).
Hill maybe, in fact his case should be pretty straightforward depending on what they decide on Juco years. Clemence is done unless he can doctor some X-Rays and claim he was hurt last year or something.
The official roster lists Clemence as a graduate player and doesn't mention a redshirt for last season but I guess that's what they're going for. The official press release does mention the season was cut short by injury.
If you want any player to play then just get a local judge to file a restraining order against the NCAA. Apparently there is nothing the NCAA can do about it.
Rashauns case should've been very straightforward for the NCAA IMO. He only played 3 full seasons of non juco ball. 2019-2020 he redshirted but that was the Covid year so he should essentially get another redshirt to use. Next season only plays 1 game and has a season ending injury so that should either be a medical redshirt or a standard one. Goes to juco - doesn't count. Comes back and arguably hasn't used a single season of eligibility. Plays 3 full seasons before transferring here.
The purpose of the lawsuit and TRO is to claim the NCAAs ruling on his eligibility wasn't consistent with their past rulings - which is clearly the case for Agee, but absolutely not for Bediako. I believe the NCAA tried to claim the NMSU year where he played 1 game counted which is pretty ridiculous.
The problem is the NCAA doesn't agree that juco years don't count. They've pretty consistently ruled they do count and then they've been killed in the courts over it.
