If I had to guess, he doesn't like coming off the bench. But props to him for doing it because he really gives us a spark. He does makes more mistakes than I'd like but I think that's due to him working to carry a weaker lineup. I'f like to see him really embrace the villain role that opposing fan bases seem to thrust upon him.

I also give him credit for embracing his role on this team. Felt it could go either way for a while.

Sorry. But you don't know if he's happy or not. I'm guessing winning helps. He has been a good kid for us and (I'm not saying this is you) it seems folks have held a bunch of his play while at Tech against him. He always looks like he's enjoying himself. And he's had a great spark as you say.

Pop is one of my favorite players on this team

Always seems to hit a 3 when we really need it or that deflates the other team

I like how he tossed the ball to Domiguez at the end of the game to give him the TO as the shot clock expired, then immediately hugged him. Just a light-hearted competitive moment, and Dominguez didn't seem to care.

I don't fully understand what a luxury it is to have him come off the bench. It has to be a nightmare for our opponents.

He's clearly hyper competitive. I think he was underperforming his own personal expectations early in the year and that was the frustration people were seeing.

I saw that too. 15 point SEC road wins do quite a bit for team chemistry.

And I'm not saying he's unhappy. I'm just saying from a players perspective, being the starter is always the goal.

The ESPN gamecast listed it as a team turnover (not credited to a player)- still a microcosm of his savvy, competitive nature.

Rethinking it and a big part of our success is how well he's played in conference. He kind of stunk it up as he was getting into playing shape but he's been a real asset in conference.
