Just listened to the "SEC Now" postgame show. I always enjoy their analysts. They seem knowlegeable, have fun, and relate well to the players. As you might imagine, they were very complimentary of the Aggies.
A few of the comments: "Rank them in fhe top 25" (reflected a question asked during the game broadcast on whether A&M should be ranked). They (Aggies) understand who they are as a team. Impressed with emphasis placed on shot quality the last 4 minutes. A couple quotes - "Texas A&M will continue to keep balling because they will continue to be all in" and "This is a unique team because Bucky went out and got hungry guys, ready to buy into his system."
Also a super interview with Rashaun Agee. Started by saying how much the team loves each other. Commented that UGA tried to play the way we play but there's only one of us. Motivated by his family. Commented on being a Chicago kid and realizes everyone doesn't get these opportunities. Regarding his wait to become eligible, spoke to his faith, the fact that Bucky and he talked a lot, and that the team kept faith in him.
Obviously, everything always seems great when you're winning. We all know basketball is cyclic and there will be some tough times ahead when the ball doesn't bounce our way. But, who wouid have thought we'd be 7-1 and on top of the SEC while playing such a fun style of ball? Pretty special, Ags!
