It's been a great story with a special group of guys. We should certainly just enjoy this ride. I'm very bullish on the future of Aggie basketball.

While I agree with this. This team has already become one my favorite a&m teams of all times when considering how it came together at the last minute with a unknown coach and how the team plays together.

You can't just wait to watch this team and knew Bucky was a great hire but this unbelievable how this has come together. Team has taken on his persona and confidence.

I'm 73 years old and I agree with you, we'll see how far they go. As it stands right now, my favorite Aggie Sports Team is the 2025 Fightin' Texas Aggie National Championship Volleyball Team. They have SET the bar!! :-)

The style of play is really fun. Amazing how much more fun BB is to watch when your team can shoot!

We didn't look good against the power teams in the early season, so I was worried Buckyball might turn out to be a gimmick. But at that point the team had hardly played together, and they've been better every week. I'm excited to see how high the ceiling can be for this team!

They keep getting better every week. It is remarkable to see. We would beat OSU of we played them again, same with smu (which we should have won anyways). Ucf looks to be a good team but we are wayyyy better than when we played them.

see my post in WBB - but to #Ein, I agree. I have seen the entire VB season multiple times and only wish Logan and Maddie get some " LOVB" but Buckyball has Ben electrifying and one also knows the behavior of Ags, superstition and happiness.

Good shooters is what they are.

I feel like this team is extra special because we've gotten to watch them grow. So many teams have their growth from one year to the next in the offseason and camp. We've watched this team grow before our eyes during the season. This is a dramatically different team than we saw against OSU.

Absolutely! This is 1980 and 2005-2007 basketball;1968, 1985, and 1998 football; and a lot of other very fun, memorable seasons in other sports, like V-ball this year. Those teams go down in your mind's history as very special for what they did or how they did it, and who they were.

No doubt this particular team will be remembered well no matter where the journey ends.

All in on Bucky!

We were living in BCS when we won the WBB National Championship. What a tremendous (and fearless) group of young ladies that was. Danille Adams outdueled Brittney Griner in Big D (she is one of the best pure athletes I've ever seen) to send us to the Final Four. Their run was very similar to the VB Team this year and I would put them as a close 2nd to most favorite ever. BCG's teams were so fun to watch and who can forget the 20-6 record that Johnny Football put up in 2012-13. The Bowl Game against Duke was clearly one of the most exciting Aggie wins ever! For now, Jamie has the crown! Gig'em!

I think this is definitely it. Everyone had, at absolute best, modest expectations for this team.

I mean hardcore fans were texting each other after the UCF game worried about whether the Bucky era was was going to crash before it got off the ground. It was pretty easy to envision a scenario where we limp through this first season, then it's hard to get players because nobody wants to join a team that got killed all year, then the money starts to dry up, which means even fewer players, etc.

Now we're sitting here a couple months later trying to figure out if we can climb up to the 5-6 seed ranks to close the season.

This team hasn't just blown past any sort of reasonable expectations, it's knocking on the door of being one of our best teams of all time.

This team is so special because the roster was cobbled together after most of the best portal Players were gone, Bucky was an unknown at this level who was coaching high school just 5 years ago, we were basically left for dead by everyone for this season but these guys have just grown together and come together to do the completely unexpected up to this point.

You can just tell that this group of players, like the fans and Bucky, are never going to forget this season, and I bet a lot of them remain friends after this is all over
