Tough loss. But how does this affect the rest of the season?

Not much at all. The outlook on the postseason is not changed. If anything it proves yet again this team is capable of going toe to toe with just about any team in their house.

Florida is going to come in fresh with extra days to prepare for A&M. We wont get back until midnight tonight. Saturday could be rough for us.

Just win the games you should you are around an 8 seed

Will need to knock off one of these top teams here to move up more. Tonight didn't hurt by any means but definitely was a missed opportunity to move up more

None, other than a great learning experience for us and best kind of practice we could have.

This is the day of NIL. It's not like our guys have to get up for class the next 2 days.

Bama isn't a great team, they had lost 4 of last 7 with last loss being a blowout. That said, the schedule doesn't get any easier. I'm impressed by Buckyball, but we are also 0-2 against the two best SEC teams we played. We beat up on the bottom half of the SEC so far.

Thanks eeyore.

Their season was also over if they lost tonight. So they played one of best games tonight, with refs in pocket, and won by a possession.

Run along.

Alabama is now 4-2 in their last 6 games. But sure, they did lose squeakers to Vandy and Sips before that. Had some injuries back then and didn't have Bedeiko.

I'm not sure how it will look but I have a sense that we find away to beat UF. At home, should be a super energetic crowd, and Vinson and Clemence coming on. This could be a great game.

More and more impressed with this team. This team does not wilt on the road as so many teams do. These guys believe they are going to win every game. We were a shot from OT and got a great look. One possession games are evenly matched teams, and given this was on the road, I would say A&M is actually the better team. This game showed me that this team can win in the tourney. Even with the two SEC losses, you can't say that this team has not been RED HOT in conference play. I actually felt really good last night even after the loss. Been a while since I could say that. Bucky did too. Watch his reaction when he shook hands with Oats. Both knew that this team has arrived.

Factual, yes, but overly negative.

Both of those losses were on the road. One in double OT and the other within inches of OT. I like how this team has evolved into a real competitor.

Um ok. In conference play we are 8-1 against the spread. Our two actual losses were as an 11 point dog at Tennessee (5 pt. loss in double OT) and 8.5 point dog at Bama (3 point loss and a shot to tie at the buzzer). We were also 4.5 point dogs on the road at Texas (win) and Georgia (blowout win). The real story is that this team is red hot playing right now. We were never going to go undefeated in conference (picked 13th for gods sakes), but the constant undermining of the results AND the eyeball test simply shows BAS in its truest form.
