Florida handed us our most lopsided SEC loss of the season in front of a sellout crowd. As a result, we have lost back-to-back SEC games for the first time to drop to 17-6 and 7-3 in SEC play. But I am proud of the team's effort, especially in the second half. After we scored just 19 in the first half, we scored 48 in the second half. Hopefully, we bounce back with a home win over Missouri on Wednesday.

Nah. The problem was we were shooting 3.7% from the field 12 minutes into the game. There were students in the building with higher GPAs than that.

This team is made up of a lot of overachievers and fighters. They will learn from this and come back and play with fire at our next game. You can bank on that.

It was so bizarre watching the first half live. All of those missed shots.

Every single player was off. (Pop and Hill did better as the game went on.)

The internet said our usual scoring percentage is about 40%. Last night is was approx. 30%. It looked worse than that.

I feel bad for the team, but hopefully we learn and move on.

Every shot in the first half seemed like voodoo curse.

Like the announcers said, we had looks and opportunities, we just couldnt get shots to fall.

The Aggies were still giving full effort until the final whistle, though. Not going to sugar coat that we got absolutely licked, but if we want to go deep in the tourney we need to figure out solutions on how to compete with these teams.

Bottom line is the team needs to put this loss behind us and don't let it hurt us in the next game. Get back in the Win column and move forward.

I don't think we gave max effort and hustle for a block in the second half. We were not hustling back and not even trying to compete for rebounds. I thought for the first time all year effort was lacking and at our biggest game and most crucial game of the season. I think they will rebound and hope they do but this game definitely hurt and set back credibility of Aggie basketball

We just saw how a high variance team without a lot of height plays against a talented and very tall top tier team when we are not shooting well. Their defense had plenty to do with it but we are a better shooting team than we showed last night .

Florida is a cut above the next tier of the conference which we are squarely in. (Tennessee, Auburn, Bama, Arkansas , maybe Kentucky & Vandy & tu)



Vs Bama we saw how we match up with a good team when we are shooting well. Pretty even matchup

On to Mizzou and to the tourney.

We knew this stretch was going to be tough. But again, to have a team that is probably just on the outside of Top 25 from where we started at, we are ahead of schedule in rebuilding
