Isaacs. Hill had good stats. Pop the only one who seemed ready for the game.

Pop played tough, especially in the second half. I thought Hill played too timid in the first half, but much tougher in the 2nd.

Agee was good, but, avoided contact. I think he was shaken when he lowered his shoulder into Chineylu and Chin didn't even budge.

Pop is solid mentally. He doesn't play scared. Probably why he always seems frustrated with everyone else.

Pop is gonna play his game no matter what. Sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes it does.

Agree it is Pop.

Also want to give credit to Clemence. I thought this would be a terrible matchup for him, but he was scrappier than usual fighting for rebounds and loose balls. On offense he was trying to post up when he got a mismatch. Not saying he lit the world on fire but I thought he had the highest dawg over expected dawg ratio.

Pop. A clutch 3-4 from 3-pt. (2 bad turnovers)

Hill runner-up.

If Pop sticks to shooting 3's, he's worth the money big time. Dribbling fast into traffic having turnovers or forcing it up near the basket is what has to be discouraged by coach.

Pop is a sharpshooter deep. Not sure I'd be shooting NBA length 3's either though.

Maybe we need to start Pops when we're facing superior talent to set the tone.

Clemence had his struggles around the rim today, like normal, but he played his butt off. I think he deserves a shout out.

Pop because of the production but Clemence certainly gave the effort of a dawg. Vinson as well but he wasn't on the floor much.

Vinson has improved a lot and still just played 8 mins in the last 2 games . He has surpassed Federiko as a team asset by a mile imo.

Pop took a pretty good smack too, hope he's feeling alright, it almost looked like he cracked a tooth, but was still in the game immediately after, but that has to smart.

Games like this are deflating, but let's keep our focus on the track in front of us!

This is a good to great team and our best ball is in front of us.

y'all notice when Pop is in and play stops, he always looks to bench and says please don't take me out.

Hill did a lot of damage very late when it didnt matter.

The late performance by players at the end of the game matters. The point differential matters every game, even during a loss. The point margin is a key component of the NET rankings used by the committee for NCAA Tournament selection and seeding.

No Dawgs detected in this one. We looked tight and a little scared, frankly, and playing hard and making shots when the game is already over doesn't make you a dawg.

That's fair. This, UCF and OSU prob the only games where there really wasn't a dawg.

NONE

I thought out of the gate, we played SCARED--we played with hesitation, we didn't immediately take the shot when we were open like we've done all season long--we passed when we'd normally knock down the three.

When a smaller player plays like that, it gives the taller player a chance to get into position and defend. Further, we did this and compounded it with a HUGE dry spell (i.e., in past games we could shoot our way out of a dry spell). This one, not so much. I think we questioned our PROCESS AND PROCEDURES. We can't do that.

WE'VE BEEN PLAYING WITH BIG BALLS ALL SEASON LONG--WE LEFT OUR BALLS IN THE LOCKER ROOM. This maybe too soon, but it seems as though after the bama loss, we've questioned ourselves--are we good? did we just beat bad teams to get to 7-2? did we read some of the headlines of articles questioning our ability and worthiness of our record?

Bottom-line, do we believe in Bucky Ball or not?? This is the question that needs to be answered before our next game.

We lost to bama--so what. In the bama game we very easily coulda/shoulda won if we made a free throw or two, a layup or two and/or a shot or two. We didn't. So we lost--SO F-ING WHAT!!!! That wasn't our first lose. We ARE going to lose another game or two (maybe more) this season. SO F-ING WHAT!!!!

We only GREW OUR BALLS after half time and the game was pretty much out of reach. Our first half performance and mental/physical attitude against florida, was totally opposite as to how we've been playing up to the bama game. We lost--SO F-ING WHAT!!!!

We know we're the SHORT, LITTLE B@$T@RD on the court and if we don't hustle, play hard, throw our elbows around and knock a knut or two around, and take and make our shots, we will have more games like florida. It was humbling and humiliating. Some teams need this. florida has lost games too.

But you can learn from this. Do we believe in Bucky Ball or not?????
