It's a strategy. I don't want us to not support our team, but rather give them what they need. I'm sure the crowds are a minuscule part of the pressure they apply on their own.
I don't want to go into the details, but it might be good for them to think that no one believes in them.

We don't work that way so I'm sure the Kentucky game will be another huge pressure packed atmosphere like Florida and today. Maybe it will be different.

Isn't it literally Bucky's goal to make the games so fun that people show up and recruits want to play here because of the atmosphere? I think he's said that a few times in interviews and stuff.

Some morons are convinced that the team can't handle big games at home because they aren't used to playing in front of an energized crowd during our usual games.

Yes, that is their theory.

I'm not gonna lie. This thought had crossed my mind. Not so much because of pressure, but communication on defense, calling out picks, switches, help, etc… I agree it shouldn't be a problem but if 9/10 games are one way and you get used to it, then you have one go the other way, it could make a difference…

it's because we are short undersized team that can't rebound or make shots at this point the season. Teams know we are struggling at this juncture and are slowing us down.
