It's pretty incredible how un-clutch we've been at time both from the field and at the line.

We also had a two point lead with 15 seconds left in the first overtime and Agee just handed the ball over. If Isaacs would have done that there'd be rioting in the streets.

Yep. And Griffen slipping. Let that be Isaacs and it's the end of the world. For whatever reason he gets all the hate.

I haven't really followed this thread but who exactly is everyone suggesting we should start or get heavy minutes over pop?

Is there some mystery PG I'm not aware is on the roster?

We looked more tired than LSU did for 3 OT's plus. LSU had 8 players who played 26 minutes or over. We had 5.

Did we? I saw 2 gassed teams.

No one is surprised or concerned about this with tournament play starting. Yea, 2 gassed teams. Testimony to how great a shape we are in, but not a formula for success going forward. Also, a testimony to our athleticiness which is also apparently in question.

Pop could not have played harder. Jersey was soaking wet at the end. Looked like he had jumped in a pool. Great work!

I agree that Isaacs should keep starting.
And I believe that Lane should remain benched and not play unless there is a rash of guard foul trouble or injuries

Now that we've gotten past the the regular season and into win or go home time, it's time to give the guys most capable of having productive minutes all the minutes they can take.

I said the same thing on premium, but I think this team has a hard ceiling in the NCAA tournament. If the predicted seeds hold, then if we manage to win day one, on the day 2 we will be playing the 1/2 seed. We are just not physically capable of beating any of the teams currently projected to be a 1 or 2. This is one of those years where there are 6-8 teams that are just so clearly better than everyone else that after day 1 there will be very few upsets.

The only way we pull off a what will be a damn near miracle upset against any of the current 1 or 2 seeds is if the PG position has an amazing game. Like 20+ points, 8 assists, 2 turnover type game. Of the guys currently on the, which of them are most capable of doing that? Pop is the obvious answer, despite his seeming to have a bad attitude.

Idk, I think some of the 2 seeds don't overwhelm you with size the way Florida/Michigan do. UH and Iowa St are not overwhelming size wise. Obviously we'd be huge underdogs against either, but I think we'd at least have a punchers chance.
