I've seen it a few times, which makes it even more odd. Yes, there is some camping at times, but I feel like modern basketball has eliminated much of the need for it.

What's the rule these days? In ancient times any part of you in the lane could result in a call. I assume that these days it's a reset if you get one foot out? Kinda like inbounding after a made basket.

When I played (decades ago) it was probably called a half dozen times per game, on average. It was strictly enforced (yo th Ed detriment of the game imo). Can't remember the last time I saw it called, but it's been years. Agree the three point shot has spread the shooters out such that's it seems rarely abused.

Virtually every backcourt player today carries/palms the ball. It's ridiculous! Bob Cousy and Marcus Haynes are rolling over in their graves.

Me too. I stopped counting at 8 tho. Did it twice in our last game against tu.

My other pet peeve is dribbling guy who pushes off hard with his off arm and a lot of them do it against the press. Also doesn't get called 80% of the time.

In the SEC tourney commercial they end the commercial with Kentucky's Oweh pushing off hard on a drive and sinking the bucket.
