St Mary's didnt cover themselves in glory late in the game and in the handshake line. Get your damn hands off of our players. Geeze, go talk to your own players. Their HC looked pissed at Agee too and I guarantee you he had nothing to do with it. Griffin doing his thing lol.
So weird seeing a team give up down 13 with a minute left in March Madness after seeing what A&M did a decade ago

Great defensive game all around. Vinson gave some solid mins tonight. Was fun watching ruben get hot for a few mins there as well.

I can see why SMC players were upset. You could tell they weren't in our class within 2 minutes of the start of the game. Way too slow, their size was negated by our quickness and they struggled with the press more than any team we've played. Simply no match.

Unlike say Sumlin v. UCLA... Bucky knows how to game manage tempo if we are up a really good chunk. Every possession was on average 30 more seconds gone, seemingly. There's a reason St. M only scored 50. Super smart by Bucky.
Yep. Minimize their possessions as much as possible.

We outclassed these guys but they ARE D1 athletes. Their strength is their guards and they clearly overplayed the perimeter in the second half. Their stud fish did nothing defensively but sit in Reuben's jock. Well defended 3s would've done nothing but give them a chance.
We are so underrated. George sucks.

That's a great point. It wasn't like we were doing hold the ball, everyone don't move and play hero ball at end of clock like buzz...
Guys were moving constantly, wearing them out. So much better.

Quite an accomplishment for a year 1 that started from scratch. Loved the defense and, at times, the offense. Can't figure why we seemed to be beating our head against the wall driving to the rim most of the second half but can't complain.

I've been to a few of their games. They can be dominant, but also lackadaisical. I think our guard rotation will love the challenge, but we don't have an answer for Tugler. Gonna need good minutes from Dibba and Clemence.
