Welcome, and thanks. Texas A&M is definitely underrated. Lost a few games they should have won last season but I believe this new staff have and will continue to work on that problem.

Thanks and welcome! And yeah, I'd take that in a heart beat - especially if we can lose respectably as opposed to getting blown out. We just don't really know what to expect right now.

Thanks! Very excited about being in this conference. Looking forward to the competition, and the venues, heretofore you would only get to see on TV. Now we have a vested interest in going to these sites.

Was in Baton Rouge the early part of July and had several people, after seeing my Aggie T-shirt, come up to me and tell me how excited they are to have A&M in the SEC. I was pleasantly surprised.

A&M/LSU will develope into a huge game on thanksgiving.

As an objective observer, I actually have a feeling that aTm will have a decent chance of beating one of either UF or auburn (or possibly both).

The key against UF will be how well aTm's QB and receivers have gelled that early in the season, and how comfortable they are with the new playbooks on offense and defense. UF has a lot to prove from an offensive standpoint. They were a train wreck on offense from the time that Bama knocked Brantly out of the next few games. Even when he returned, they were still pretty awful. They couldn't run the ball or throw it. Whoever wins their starting QB spot will have to prove to me that they can make plays consistently before I put too much stock in their ability to win big.

I think by the time aTm gets to auburn, they should be a little more comfortable in their new systems. I think the key in that one will be whether or not aTm's defense can control auburn's running game, because I don't see their passing game being all that formidable with their QB situation.

It wouldn't suprise me a bit to see aTm win 8 games (but more likely 7 games).

The good news regarding the Gator game is that they have a psychotic head coach that could actually have a psychotic episode at any given point or try to put his head through the locker room wall before the game. We have that going for us, at least. Muschamp just isn't the kind of guy that is stable enough to be a HC in the long term.
