Thinking about trying to go to this game, but have a few questions for those who are going or know anything about Auburn:

1. Tickets - Should I buy from A&M or get them through Auburn/ secondary market (I don't mind sitting in cheaper seats).

2. Do most people fly into and stay in Atlanta? It looks more or less like going to CS from Houston on a game day, but I could be wrong. I also have a feeling accomodations would be hard to come by in Auburn/ Opelika at this point.

1. Don't really have an opinion on ticket options other than I checked premiumticketsdirect.com for another game and saw they have a bunch of tickets available for the Auburn game.

2. Atlanta airport is about 95 miles from campus and is the closest major airport option. It's an easy drive down I-85. I highly doubt there are any hotel rooms in Auburn/Opelika to be had at this point as they are booked a year in advance. Guessing you'd have luck finding a room in LaGrange (~30 miles from Auburn) or Newnan (~65 miles)...both of these towns are on I-85...or maybe Columbus (~35 miles).

You'll enjoy the environment if you decide to come. J-H stadium is a great place to see a game.

12th Man Foundation still had tickets available for the Auburn game last time I checked.

I got student tickets, and we are driving up, but Atlanta would be the easiest airport or Montgomery if you can find a good price, just don't fly into Birmingham.

My tickets were through 12th man. Flying from DFW to Atlanta ($275) and used hotel points to book a hotel in Auburn. Otherwise, it was $350 a night with a 2 night minimum (if you can find a hotel close).

Can't wait!!

Just bought my plane ticket today. DFW to Columbus Thursday night. Friday to wonder around campus and sit in random classes.

Why do you say don't fly into Birmigham? I, too, have tickets and am starting to look at flight options from DFW.

Cheaper flying in ATL, typically anyway

You can fly into Birmingham if you want to drive 2.5 hrs. ATL or MGM are your best airport options.
