1) I am quite proud of your ability to count. Wasn't sure an LSU fan would be able to count to 11 in anything other than corn dogs, so good job on figuring out the length of time between Midnight Yell and the game!

The LSU DEs are great b/c they are great coming around the tackles and getting to the QB. JFF will Cajun-scramble your defense for breakfast and lunch when those DEs come round the corner.

A&M hasn't yet proven they are a top 10 team, but they are much tougher than 2 years ago. Including the special teams.

The new 4-3 base defense will improve A&M's ability to run-stop, and I suspect LSU will be seeing 4-4 sets and 9-man boxes.

If you read what I said you would understand I didn't call your team little boys in comparison to the men of the SEC. I was pointing out that he was touting women's sports like they have any bearing on football.
And the only major sports are the ones that make money like football, basketball, and baseball for a very small handful of schools.

As an LSU fan who has been around here for a while, I thought I might be able to add something to this . . .

- A&M has good depth at RB. I see this as push between the teams.

2. Mingo/Montgomery - The best pair of defensive ends in the country have been wreaking havoc all season. A&M has some nice tackles, but they can't handle these two guys all day along.
- The match ups of the game IMO. Each will win some and lose some. The key for LSU is for the DEs to keep containment.

- Leave the football talk to the adults. A&M's defense has been suspect at times, but the offense is good, really good.

- JFF is good, really good. LSU must keep containment, stay in their rush lanes, keep gap integrity, get a good push from the middle and collapse the pocket around him. He will make his plays. Just have to limit them.

5. LSU O-line - This o-line only has 2 starters from the beginning of the season, but it still is dominant. Last week against a top d-line, it controlled the line of scrimmage the entire game.
- As goes the oline, so goes the offense. The re-vampt oline for LSU must play with the same intensity and cohesiveness as last week. They must limit the false starts and mental lapses that have hurt them from time to time this year. IMO, this can be the difference in the game. If LSU's oline is rolling, the RB's will be heading downhill and will control the clock. The LSU offense must keep the Aggie O on the sidelines.

6. JC Copeland - I know in the Big 12 you guys didn't see too many fullbacks with your air it out offenses, but LSU employs the best in cfb. Copeland lays the lumber all day and creates holes for the running backs.
- He is a beast. The team follows him.

- Any other year, I would give LSU a huge advantage here. But, the LSU special teams this year have been helter skelter. If Wing is on, then he is the best punter in college, but lately he is good for at least one shank a game.

8. Coaching Matchup - Sumlin is a nice coach. He had an ok record at Houston. He is going up against one of the best in the business though, who has a bcs championship ring. Also, LSU has the best defensive coordinator in the country who looks forward to facing this air raid offense.
- This is going to be a good chess match between Sumlin and Chavis. There is no telling what gameplan/play calls to expect from the 3-headed monster (Miles, Stud, Kragthorpe) on offense. Could be good like last week or could be like the UF game.
