The 12th Man Foundation is teaming up with Texags.com to bring you the 12th Man Challenge!
Starting October 20th, you will have a chance to prove you are the Ultimate 12th Man by completing four challenges and submitting them online at 12th Man Challenge
The winner will get four season tickets for the 2013 Aggie Football season!
Challenge #1:
For the first challenge, fans will have to submit a photo of themselves wearing Aggie gear. More importantly fans are challenged to take the photo in the most interesting location they have ever represented the Aggies. Have a photo of yourself on the Great Wall? What about in Times Square? Submit your photos starting October 20th to prove you are the Ultimate 12th Man.
Challenge #2:
The next challenge is simple enough if you know the words to the War Hymn. Submit a video of you, singing the War Hymn. Whether in a group, by yourself, or at a game, all it takes is a video of you singing at the top of your lungs and showing that Aggie pride.
Challenge #3:
Know any celebrities? Been hanging out with the TexAgs.com team? Snap a quick photo of you and one of the guys giving a Gig’em. This challenge requires you to submit a photo with a celebrity and you supporting Texas A&M. Track down Gabe and Billy, get them to pose, and snap a picture!
Challenge #4:
The last challenge fans will need to complete at an attempt to become a finalist is "Whooping" in random places. Submit a video of yourself whooping. At a game, in church, the grocery store, or anywhere you feel the need or desire to let your voice be heard. Originality and humor will help get you into the next round, so get out there and start whooping.
The Final Two Challenges
After the first four challenges, finalists will be selected for the last two challenges. From this select group of contestants a winner will be chosen by fan voting and will receive four season tickets for the 2013 Aggie Football season. Prizes will be awarded to second and third place contestants as well, including a Texas A&M Football helmet and an Aggie gear prize pack from the MSC Bookstore.
The last two challenges are bit more difficult and will require fans to go the extra mile to prove they are the Ultimate 12th Man. First, film yourself holding yell practice. Whether in your office on a Friday or with a group of friends while you watch the game. Prove you are the embodiment of what it means to be the 12th man by leading your friends in a Yell Practice.
The final challenge will put the contestants against each other as they each try to explain why they are the Ultimate 12th Man. Create a video that features you explaining what it means to be the 12th Man and why you are the Ultimate 12th Man. Remember, the grand prizewinner will be voted on by the fans so do your best to evoke the passion that the 12th Man is known.
