I live in south College Station. Many of these "better educated" people live in my neighborhood, two of them right next door.

One of them tried to fix a drainage problem in their back yard and turned a puddle into a lake. I ended up doing it for him after the mosquitoes got bad. Should have seen the look on his face when I stretched a simple piece of string from Point A to Point B, then dug / filled the ground to match the slope of the string.

The other asked me to take a look at his air conditioner which wasn't cooling very well. I asked him how often he changed his a/c filter. His response: "What filter"?

You'll find high comedy like this in every college town. Dudes who can split an atom but can't read the dipstick on their car.

In a lot of cases "better educated" means MAs in interpretive dance. And Romney won every income level above $50K/yr. Obama voters loves them some free phones and healthcare.
