That was in response to some journalism that was highly critical of his players. I think an article called Russell Shepard a "flop" and Miles didn't take that very well. He pretty much did a Mike Gundy speech in defense of his players in a less ridiculous manner.

They've done this for several years as a punishment for missing workouts. I rememember a picture a while back that I think had Shepherd and Tolliver on it.
