I have been to all the SEC stadiums except for Mizzou, and here are my rankings. I figured it would be a good topic during the winter break.

1. LSU - You can call me biased, but a bunch of publications put LSU #1. SVP said the LSU/Bama game this year was the best sporting event he ever attended.

2. Florida - The Swamp is loud and intimidating. The gator chomp is pretty cool at kickoffs.

3. Alabama - Most people have Auburn ahead of Bama, but I was impressed with Bryant-Denny.

4. Auburn - The eagle flying down before the game is pretty cool.

5. UGA - A step below the top 4, but still a fun stadium with a good atmosphere.

6. Tennessee - The stadium is massive, but it isn't as loud as the ones ahead of it.

7. South Carolina - It's a new school atmosphere with Sandstorm, but hey there a new school team with little tradition.

8. Texas A&M - I went this past season. The noise level was lower than I expected. The coordinated cheers are impressive. Yell leaders instead of cheer leaders was a little different to me.

9. Ole Miss - Tailgating is fun there, but the stadium is like a high school.

10. Arkansas - Everything about Arkansas is lame to me.

11. Miss. St. - Cow bells will drive you nuts.

12. Mizzou - My best guess on this one.

13. Vandy - Better atmosphere as of late I am guessing. LSU fans outnumbered Vandy when I went.

14. Kentucky - They don't care about football.

2) Everyone else

I've been to LSU 4 times...three times for A&M/LSU games. Tiger Stadium is like going to a game at Texas Tech except the band sucks.

Your only impression of Kyle was an 11:00 game with killer traffic from LSU's traveling. A lot of people couldn't get into the game until right at or after kickoff. In addition, half the students are tired and hungover. Not trying to get in an Internet fight but those factors killed the atmosphere. Florida was much more electric in September because it was at least 2:30. If us and Bama next year is at night it will be at a different level.

You'll see something completely different when you come back in two years assuming its a night game.

I don't see a problem with his list . Where do you people think he went wrong? It's reasonable to allow him a little SEC bias and its hard to put us ahead of any of those teams in front.

Being a large dewsh doesn't mean he can't have a reasonable argument for his rankings.

The good news for us is that we are the team on that list with the most upside. The rest of them are either going nowhere or have maximized the atmosphere.

Truth hurts I guess. Somebody else may have posted this, but not me.

Just my opinion based on attending all the venues but 1. I hope my next experience at Kyle is better than this past one. I left disappointed in every aspect but the bar scene and game result.

If you guys haven't been to the venues I listed ahead of A&M you should definitely check them out. SEC venues blow big 12 venues away.

Somewhat but his only example of Kyle wasn't good. I would bump us to at least 4 or 5.

4 through 8 are interchangeable and could be argued for days so ill let corn dog slide. When our upgrade is finished it won't be debatable.

Don't see a problem with the rankings. Lots of BAS on here. Went to the okie state game last year and sat in the endzone. It sucked. Old army won't get off their asses and yell too. If everybody helped out a little more in the alumni sections, Kyle would rock more often and be at the top of this list. Can't wait until that south endzone is enclosed, that will help.

Tennessee probably should be lower than that now. Back when I went there, they were top 3. Easily. The place was a madhouse, and even Corso said it was the best place to see a football game, especially at night.

IF corndogs were a delicacy, then the OP might have a half credible argument. However corndogs can be bought on the Sonic value menu for $1.00.

Getting harrassed by a bunch of body odor/corndog smelling, half educated, alcohol fueled, pointy headed, swamp dwellers is not an atmosphere. It is a third world prison.

Of course, being from Louisiana, this might be a compliment to them.
