Way to go all out and have the entire team, the coaches, and the mascot show up for a game. It must take a lot of effort to make that happen.

What do your fans shout at visitors when you're playing Mizzou, Auburn, and Clemson?

Michigan didn't have lights until like last season, when, against the irish, they had their first game.

I'm not sure what other schools may not have lights, but I agree, night games aren't a tradition.

No Grove = Epic Fail

Anybody posting a link to bleacherreport may as well quote Skip Bayless.

If you haven't been to a night game in Death Valley, then you haven't experienced college football at it's pinnacle. I have been to Kyle Field and wasn't that impressed.

The Grove is way overrated. It was incredibly disappointing. Ole Miss girls are way better looking than A&M girls though.

Not the point, time of day isn't a tradition.

Does LSU have anything that is unique to your university? Glorified night games, Death Valley, Tiger mascots, generic back and forth Go Tiger chant, run of the mill college marching band. Your university is a jeauxk.

Yes I know LSU attracts a big, wild crowd, but that's about it. The whole experience is generic and overrated. It's like high school football on steroids.

I don't get it what the big deal is.

LSU games - a drunk fest.

An old stadium that is less than impressive.

As others have pointed out, night games are not a novelty.

LSU fans' self-importance rivals that of the sips.

My comments to the recent posts since Texags has a stupid post cap limit:

Our band plays a song which has a choreographed dance/chat for each down on offense and many situations on defense. During timeouts they play music to keep the energy level up. I would much prefer that than the boring military band at A&M.

LSU experience generic? hahahaha A home game in Tiger Stadium is like none other. Scott Van Pelt (a very well respected Sportscenter Anchor and national radio host) called the LSU-Alabama game last season "the best sporting event he has ever been to."

Tiger Stadium is nicer than Kyle Field and doesn't smell like bat s*&^. The stadium is very old and has great tradition. It is not just the stadium, it is the atmosphere created by the band, fans, live tiger, etc...

A lot of teams have night games, but a night game in Death Valley trumps any other college football atmosphere.

It is amazing you guys can't appreciate anything outside of yell practice, yell leaders, and swaying back and forth.

Once again you completely misinterpreted what this thread is about.

Every one knows that LSU had an incredible and electric atmosphere. For the sake of argument, lets say you have the best in the world. It doesn't make it a great tradition, since everyone plays night games. Your atmosphere may be better, but that doesn't make it special.

so LSU football games are hi school games on steroids packed with drunk working class folk while a&m games are a loud and proud gathering of students and aggies with degrees. and of course the a&m games are an awesome display of tradition, identity and loyalty.

this post is so full of conceit and ignorance. somehow i have never envisioned a&m fans as so wholesome and sophisticated and y'all's traditions as being so "superior" while us working class only knuckledragging low life louisianians unable to have any meaningful traditions at all.

Not saying script ohio should be near the top of the list but with all the fanfare surrounding that point of the show and how pumped the stadium gets, it is pretty impressive. I would put it on the level of "Now forming at the north end of Kyle Field" or the block T at the end. It is a huge honor in Columbus to dot the I in front of a packed 'Shoe.
