He did win a lot of games in Wisconsin and left a good gig for a reason.

He inherited a top notch program loaded with talent in a relatively weak conference. He has inherited a program in turmoil with no talent. He might have gone there because he is gullible.

They will lose to A&M, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU at the very least.

Auburn is in a similar situation to Aggies last yeat. Loaded roster with a top coach running almost the same offense. It's going to be fun to watch.

No they aren't. A&M was one of the better teams in the country in 2011 that collapsed in 2nd halves and still went 7-6.

I'm interested to see how Bielema works out at Arkansas. He likes to play a style of football that fits in this league. However, I don't think he'll get the talent in Fayetville to stand toe to toe with 'Bama and LSU and beat them at their style of game. I think he's a really good coach, but he's in a league where every program has a really good coach. I think this year they'll duke it out with MSU for last in the conference and I think he'll have a hard time digging out of that position. He shares recruiting grounds with LSU, A&M, tu and OU. And he's in a division with Saban, Miles, Sumlin and Freeze.

Bielema makes no sense to me. He's a ground and pound guy coaching against better ground and pound coaches, and he's going to try to do it with a spread roster that was terrible last year. Oh, and he claims to hate the way the SEC recruits.

Am I crazy or didn't Wisconsin have a pretty explosive offense the last few years?

They ran up the score on bad teams in 2010 (that was the year they put 83 on Indiana) and they had Russell Wilson in 2011, but they haven't consistently been a really high scoring team.

Its hard to be high scoring in a power run scheme. The clock does not stop enough. Still though, they beat up on a bunch of bad Big Ten teams.

My guess is Bielema brings order and discipline back to Arkie, but ends up around 500 in conference games.
