Long friggin' trip. 1200+ miles round trip from Austin.
Arkansas' country-side was quite lovely.
Campus was nice.
I had heard stories of 'shine drinkin hill-folk swarmin' out of the hinterlands to see the games back in the day, but I believe they have been priced-out of attending CFB.
Tailgating scene was weak.
Hog Fan was tilting nipple to us prior to the game with "Take it easy on us" talk all day.
Dickson Street was cool and absolutely over-run with Aggies.
I told a couple older Hogs that t.u. was convinced that they could get into the SEC whenever they wanted. You should have seen the flinty looks that brought. One said, "I got two words for that... hell fookin' no!"
Stadium was kinda neat the way it was cut into a hill. It looked really small for 70k+ though.
I was relieved to win as it was pretty obvious we were their Super Bowl.
I bleed Maroon and I wipe burnt orange.
