I have a feeling it has nothing to do with any of that. It has to do with their personal safety and quality of life, having to worry now.

Strongly disagree. When the snake approached him he could easily have said that's something I'll have to think about after the season, or expressed he wasn't interested. He'll if he wanted this job he could have gone to Albert's and probably been given the position after the season. He didn't have to go along with the fake visits scheme. He could have continued to do his duties as listed in his contract and kept recruiting players. Outside of going to Albert's nothing I listed would harm his reputation as a coach and trustworthy assistant.

If Cain or Earley were candidates, then that offer would have happened already. Weiner is just lost puppy following Schloss and whatever he says as he doesn't know what is happening yet (his senses will wake up soon).

tu will have clauses on Cain and Earley to remove payouts on Schloss to A&M if either comes back.

If our players are banking on this happening in order to stay, things may get worse before better.

To be honest, would you really want any of these guys involved with the program based upon the information starting to leak out? The fact that they could do that and think it was ethically and morally sound calls their integrity into question. I could forgive Max as he's still a young kid and easily swayed by Schloss.
No, they've made their beds...let's see how long they can lay in them.

It will be interesting to see which of these coaches is still working for Schloss in a year. I could see where an assistant might be blind sided and go as a lifeline, given no guarantee the new HC retains you.
