Trev likely will do fine once the picture gets less foggy. But he is first and foremost a fund raiser. $Bill did great at capital spend and helped build out a durable set of facilities. He wasn't wrong to focus on funding continuing spend with tickets which our fans hated then and now. His methodology of limiting
seating is the only way to durably make prices inelastic. But product in the field is what drives engagement. Football can make more we th a killer program. Baseball MIGHT make more but the spend to get there is difficult to justify.
What we proved with Schloss is the right coach can quickly change the story. Mike might become that coach. But this year isn't telling that story.
I'm not sure now is a good time to further encumber the athletic department with new spending. But maybe Trev can figure something out.
