Young Turks had a full segment roasting him. That's a literal political page that has nothing to do with sports.

Is this the first time that the national media has been on our side? Never thought I'd see the day…

They are only roasting POS because he went after a reporter. If that hadn't happen, we wouldn't be hearing half of the stuff from the media. They aren't defending us, they are making an example of the heat they can bring when a coach goes after one of them.

It's crazy how much run this story is getting nationwide, college baseball usually doesn't get that much visibility.
They should ask him to throw out the first pitch at the t u. game. How awesome would that be!TAMU1990 said:

Texas college baseball feud is at a fever pitch.
What are you talking about? Did they get rid of it at some point?Turkey said:
The main reason that A&M gets negative media coverage is because A&M grads have close to zero presence in the media industry. Don't blame anyone else. Blame TAMU leadership for basically having no journalism degree program for the past, what, 15-20 years? And only a small program before that. Bad decision by TAMU in my opinion.

2024-2025 Edition
The Bachelor of Science in Journalism is for journalists of the future who want to cover scientific topics, engage in data journalism, employ digital technologies and who are quantitatively oriented. New journalists pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Journalism will take at least 33 hours of journalism coursework, including course work in media writing, fact gathering, and journalism as a profession. While many immersive experiences in journalism are encouraged, provided and facilitated, each BS student will complete a formal, supervised, credit-bearing internship relevant to their area of interest and focus. The science aspect of the degree is rounded out with a course in statistics, a course in research methods, and with the guidance of their academic advisor, will select a two-course combination to round out their individualized and customized focus area. Each Bachelor of Science in Journalism student will earn a minor in one of the many scientific minors offered at Texas A&M University.
Journalism majors have the option to choose to earn one of the certificates offered by the Department of Communication and Journalism which include, Health Communication, Leadership & Conflict Management, Social Media or Strategic Communication.
Yes. The Journalism major was shuttered in 2004 when it was folded into the communication department. It was revived in 2023. The whole fiasco with Kathleen McElroy last year was started because they wanted a big name to bring in to run the new program.annie88 said:What are you talking about?
