Takes time. They knew he was leaving, but if it gets out that A&M is looking at coaches while making a run in Omaha, would look worse then TU looks now.

Can someone clarify the portal. People say it closes on Tuesday. Does that mean players can not enter the portal any longer, or does that mean players have to be signed and on there 2025 team?

Closed for entering. Our players get a 30 day extension for a change in head coach.

Players in the portal can be signed all summer and into the fall.

they can no longer enter. They have MONTHS to sign.

Went back and looked... Braden committed to us in August last year.

They need to be entered. There is no "signing" as I understand it. They just commit to a school but can continue to be recruited (and potentially flipped) by other schools until they enroll. May be mistaken on those specifics.

You are not mistaken. There is no "signing" or NLI. They enroll and get their aid package and that's it

I'm not sure they have MONTHS to sign. They would need to enroll in school at some point.
